FCL Summer Academy: Creativity and Innovation July 2018

PRESENTATION

I'm Núria, teacher training in the area of applied sciences. For many years I worked at the University in Innovation and Technology Transfer in the field of biomedicine and health, but there came a time when I only managed projects and people and did not have the possibility to teach, so I decided to start over.

My three passions are to learn, to teach, and to act as a mother, according to the day, in one order or another, but always the three passions are present.

On March, we were the winners of the Mobile Learning Awards 2018, in the modalities of Best experiences and classroom proposals with digital technologies and Innovative schools in the application of digital technologies. We have presented our work on the “Changing Education Together” of the Mobile World Congress.

The projects of Basic Professional Training (Basic FP) : THE VIRTUAL REALITY: A CLASS TOOL

Many students do not have the ability to relate the plans on paper with reality. The step from 2 dimensions to 3 costs them. The students of electricity and electronics work constantly with those planes, and they have a symbology and structure that only if you are an electrician you are able to understand.

The objective of the project was to bring the plans closer to any person. Virtual reality was used in a double way. The first was the passage of the 2 dimensions at 3, but also the power to teach anyone, as electricians, the type of installation they are going to make. Therefore, the VR becomes a powerful tool for marketing and presenting projects, too, as can be seen.

And that is why all the students had to present in their projects of synthesis of creation of a company, a 2D model in the form of Plans of Electrical and Electronic Installations, and a 3D model that they programmed with Cospaces Maker.

It is worth seeing, as from a simple idea, a project that was a pioneer at the center level emerged, and that has marked a before and after in the Basic Vocational Training, and in the Vocational Training as we get closer and closer to the 4.0 industry.
